These abbreviations were written for the Writelog module's multiplier file. They should be used by everyone if possible. The abbreviations may be helpful during the contest to exchange county information also.
The general rule in assigning the code to each county was to take the first 3 letters of the county and the 2 letter standard state abbreviation. This couldn't always work, so there are exceptions to that rule where required.
